Description
Wheaton Glass Millville, N.J. Ruby 6" tall 1-7/8" base diameter Green & Gold 3 1/8" tall without the stoppers All marked "Wheaton NJ" on the bottoms Wheaton Industries was founded in 1888 by Thedore Wheaton who was a pharmacist and interested in producing his own bottles. Family run, in 1967 they began producing reproductions of old bottles and commemorative bottles until 1974 - 1975. The ruby bottle has no cork stopper. The style of the bottle has small panels around the bottle on the bottom inch and the same panels start at the base of the neck and continue about 1 inch into the body. The center of the body is plain and if you look closely you can see a tiny scratch in the body. The color is nice and vivid. The green bottle is a ball and claw with 4 claws. It says " BALL AND CLAW BITTERS" on both sides. The gold bottle has a tree on the front. Over the tree is says " STRAUBMULLERS ELIXIR" " TREE of LIFE SINCE 1880" is written below the tree. The back of the bottle written is " NECTAR of THE GOLDEN LIFE of HEALTH and VITALITY" The 2 minis have the original corks which fit snugly. The colors are bright. There are no chips or cracks, no blemishes. They are very clean and clear glass. Please e-mail me with any questions. I pack well and ship fast via USPS Priority Mail within the USA.
