All of the bottles are free of chips and cracks, but the glass is cloudy and there is some ground-in dust. The first pair have the "Bolla" label on them. The taller one has a slight tilt to it, but I think it gives it some charm. Both bottles are flattened and round, one of which has the year 1952 on the neck. The labels say "Bolla Bardolino Italian Dry Red Wine Produced and Bottled in Italy by Casa Vinicola F.lli Bolla Verona". The shorter one is 9.5" high and the cork is broken off inside the neck . The second is 10" high (plus a damaged cork) and 8" across. On the back, the labels indicate they were imported by Pastene Wine & Spirits Co in Boston.The other pair is more plain, but still have character...One bottle is in a flat round shape and the cork comes out easily. I'm guessing its newer than the others...the glass is clean and smooth, and the straw wrapping seems relatively fresh. It stands 10" high (plus cork) and is nearly 8" across. The second bottle seems older -- the glass is cloudy and the remnants of a label seems old. All that is left is the word "Marchio" on the label. It stands 9.5" high, plus the cork (which is damaged and wedged in very tight). International bidders are welcome...please ask ahead of time for a shipping quote.
