Full ' Description This auction presents a partial case of Hoffman's Bitter Wine dating from the late 1800's.  Each of the five bottles are full and sealed with their original lead screw caps.  Four f the five are still in their original paper wrappers.  This lot is great for an old general storre museum.  The bonus is the original wood box/crate that the wine was shipped in. The alcohol content is 16 to 18%.  The overall condition is incredible for its age.  Each bottle measures 11 3/4" tall and holds 25 ounces of tonic.
