Description
Antique open pontil stoddard type snuff bottle measuring 4 1/2 inches tall, with 2 3/4 inches square base. Circa 1830-1860. Very scarce in this larger "fat" size. One less than pin head flake off edge of lip. Otherwise, a near mint example, from an early New England collection. Bid with confidence as I am an antique dealer with over 40 years experience.
