For its vintage age it looks to have been rarly used considering it's fantastic condition. The bottom is as nice as the top. It is clearly marked "MADE IN GERMANY" indicating pre war. German Silver has an alloy in it that keeps it from tarnishing. You will not be disapointed. This would make a super gift for a cigar smoker.
