The chest is original (with no repairs) in excellent condition for it's years!  It has a tiny chip on the edge of the wood on the front where the chest closes and one just above the left front foot. The left ribbon/cord is loose from the top of the box.  The 6 decanters are hand-blown and hand-painted with a delicate design- no cracks or chips anywhere - perfect.   Both of the glasses are also in perfect condition... also hand painted with gold...and slide into the felt-covered holder to assure their sea-worthiness.  There wasn't a key when we purchased the chest, and  we didn't want to replace a thing - just left it as we found it.  We have not used it, only kept it open to look at - (to imagine being on that ship!)  There is even a trace of dried liquor on the bottom of a couple of the decanters, just like when we found it. Measurements: Closed, the Chest is 10.75" wide x  7.5" deep x  9.75" tall, open it is 12.5" high Glasses are 3.875" tall  x  1.5" opening at top, and base is 2" Decanters - (each varies a tiny bit, being hand made) are 2.75 on all 4 sides by 7" at the top of the stoppers   If I have forgotten anything that you are interested in knowing, please e-mail me.  I'm Sheila.  Thanks  We'll pay shipping to the USA lower 48 states....and also pay that same amount toward shipping anywhere else.
