Bottle embossed:  "THE EMBALMING SUPPLY CO. / WESTPORT, CONN."  Bottle also has 16 embossed numbered horizontal lines starting with "1 OZ."  So this is a pint (16 oz.) size bottle.  Label reads: "ESCO-RA-CO ... IS THE CONCENTRATED LIQUID THAT INCARMINATES BLACK BLOOD AND GIVES A MOST GENUINE LIFELIKE COMPLEXION ... IT IS THE MOST PERFECT PRESERVATIVE AND DISINFECTANT KNOW TO SCIENCE ... BODIES EMBALMED WITH IT CAN BE KEPT FOR YEARS.  THE EMBALMERS SUPPLY CO. / WESTPORT, CONN." Condition:  Bottle is in excellent condition (has some content residue/outside film that would wash right off).  Labels are in good condition, but have some tattering and loss (see picture). It's great that this bottle is actually embossed 'EMBALMERS' as many of this type of bottle make no mention of what the bottle contained.  Quite interesting reading on the label of the bottle as quoted above, though very morbid sounding, it leaves no doubt about what this product was used for!  Though the bottle doesn't mention 'POISON' anywhere, these bottles are usually categorized with poison bottles and are even listed as such in Rudy Kuhn's Antique Poison Bottle Workshop book.  Very nice that the label and the bottle go together, a top notch antique embalming fluid bottle, check it out!
