It is smooth on the inside but looks like it has been glazed from salt like a crock it. The thermos measures about 11" tall and 8 3/4 wide at the base. The lid and cap are made of aluminium, the rubber ring is intact but does show some cracking. The outside is in good shape, no rust or cracks just some scratches and a couple of dings. I do not know that much about this kind of thermos but it may have been painted but again I do not know I can see a little green on some of the little scratches that are on it. This thermos is heavy about 8 or 9 lb. I can not find any markings, trademark or name on the thermos. Place a Bid!
