Good seal lip edge, deep kickup with sand pontil, sagged base, whittled body rounded shoulders going into perfectly proportioned short neck slightly bulged through applied double downtooled string rimand rounded short lip. Excellent condition. I.C.Hoffmann was a company based in London but with Dutch contacts who also produced a large range of early saltglazed preserves. This rare and delightful bottle was apparently to contain a cherry brandy sideline of the same firm. A rare very early company seal of superb small proportions and quality. 8 1/2"high, 2 3/4"diameter.
