This one dates to the late 1870s, and has a nice applied top. There are perhaps 6 known in any condition, and this is a beauty. The embossing reads: " The A.P. Hotaling Co. of Portland, Or. Sole Agents" Reverse is embossed "A.P. H. Co," When it comes to rare whiskey bottles, this is about as good as it gets. The color is lighter than the photos, and is a variated, and shaded honey amber. The embossing is strong, and the entire bottle is wavy, and has character(which the photo does not show). Overall condition is excellent, with a teensy paper thin pinhead on the back lip edge(too small to photograph), and a couple light scratches. No wear, cracks, flashes, or stain. This one has never been cleaned.It is an impressive 12 1/4" tall. A gorgeous piece of Western glass, and one I truly hate to part with. Buyer to pay $10 postage, and optional insurance. No Pay Pal.
