Description This is a Beautiful Vintage Scollie’s Dairy, Fort William, Ontario, Embossed Milk Bottle. On the front of the bottle in a circle it reads: Scollie’s - Its Pasteurized. On the base there is a diamond with “C” in the middle.( Consumer Glass Co.). The Dairy began operations in Fort William, Ontario in1910 and ran until the 1940’s and then became a Frozen Locker Service and later a Dairy Bar. In the Milk Bottles & Dairies of Thunder Bay( previously known as Port Arthur and Fort William) and Area the bottle is rated high on the rarity factor. Very hard bottle to find.
