Description
Small fancy Flaccus-type mustard jar about 3 ½ inches wide and, with the lid, 5 inches tall. Gorgeous see-through honey amber as per Greg Spurgeon’s color guide @ http://www.hoosierjar.com. Super sparkly with tiny bubbles and faint spirals. Correct band and RARE perfectly matching EAGLE glass insert – itself a showpiece with eye-catching bubbles. Mint. Absolutely perfect. Not the least bit damaged. No flakes or chips off the sheared lip, only the usual, normal roughness around it. Virtually scratch free. No wear on the base. Probably never used once emptied of its contents. The band is in exceptionally good condition: not damaged (no dents, splits, or holes) – not even rusted – and still retaining some of its original gold lacquered paint. The insert is as-new mint. A beautifully embossed jar in a rare and gorgeous color. The only complete one in this color I’ve seen.To enlarge a picture, click on it.
