Marked on bottom in Japanese letters, I think? (Please let me know if I've got this right?) It is crudely made with a brown glossy glaze with a few pops. Bottom has a clear glaze. There are several small chips on lip. Inside is glazed inside spout, but unglazed down in the pot itself. Its flared shape hase always appealed to me, seems like it came right out of an old market... Nice shape to display an orchid or sprig of cherry blossoms,too. Measures 6" tall by 5" diam at widest point.Check out my other auctions for other old Asian bottles I'm listing this week.
