Description
This handsome saki or beer bottle comes from Alaska, and dates from the Gold Rush era, 1896-1900. It has cobalt Japanese letters on white glaze. Excellent condition for a utility bottle, it makes a great display addition to beer or Asian collections. You could even use it as originally intended, or as an oil dispenser, so classy if you do lots of oriental cooking. It is glazed inside. Glossy white glaze has slight grey cast, a few manufacturing blips, as shown in pix. Lip is clean, no chips. Bottom glazed as well.measures 11 1/8" high by 3 5/8" diam.PACKING & PAYING: I have sold many antique bottles on eBay, I pack well and will ship quickly with PayPal, preferred. If you must pay with check or money order, I have to deposit it, and it has to clear... may delay shipping 10 days or more. Please email questions before bidding, and remember this is an auction, so no refunds unless I have missed a major flaw. And I will combine shipping if possible. Thanks for looking!
