I don't believe this is a dug bottle as it shows no signs of ground contact, looks like an attic find. Embossing on roof panels read: "ST. DRAKE'S / 1860 PLANTATION / X BITTERS" reverse reads: "PATENTED 1862". This log cabin shaped figural bottle was hand blown into a two part mold in a beautiful light golden amber colored glass, circa late 1860s. Superb original condition with NO chips, cracks, nicks, scratches, open bubbles, wear or repairs. Embossing is strong and easily readable. Nice bottle in both condition and color. NO RESERVE !
