Front of jar is nicely embossed with bees swarming around a beehive and also has the words: "TRADE MARK BEEHIVE". Glass lid is rayed which I think is the proper lid for this jar and the zinc ring threads onto the jar nice and tightly. There is a faint one inch long line at the back of the jar down by the bottom that I'm not sure if it is a flaw in the glass or if it is a crack...........it is barely noticeable and I never seen it until I began to take the photos for this auction..........I think it is quite possibly a faint crack and I must say I was rather disappointed when I saw this............whatever the case it is (crack or flaw) I will be selling this jar "as is" with no returns or refunds. I took a pic of this line but it is so faint that it is hard to photograph (see 6th pic below.............it is just above the reflection of the "B" from the other side of the jar). Jar measures approx. 7 1/4 inches high (I think it is a quart?) and it is in really nice condition with no chips or cracks other than the one faint line that MAY be a crack (I just can't tell for sure......see pics below and decide for yourself). I have other vintage and antique items listed and will combine on shipping charges in order to save you money. Any white glare is flash from my camera. Jar came from a smoker's estate so may have an odor of cigarette smoke.
