Description
This RARE 7 1/4" tall amber bottle was dug from a privy in St.louis, Mo. I did not know this bottle ever existed, until now and I have dug thousands of privys in St.louis. It is in nice condition for a dug bottle, No chips or cracks. It has an extra long neck and boldly embossed vertically - BLANKE'S - QUICK CUP - FLUID COFFEE - The bottle is BIM "Blown In Mold" and dates to the 1880's. C.F. Blanke manufactured tea & Coffee in St.louis, Mo. and received the grand prize and gold medal at the St.louis World's Fair in 1904. This bottle was recently dug from an 1880's privy in St.louis,Mo, long before the World's Fair so I would assume this was BLANKE'S first manufctured product. No reserve and buyer pays $5.75 shipping.
