RARE COLOR- KRECH BLOB BEER OR MINERAL BOTTL- CORRY PA Start Price USD 325.00 Current Price USD 325.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, June 30, 2008 End Time Thursday, July 10, 2008 Location Gibsonia, PA See more about 'RARE COLOR- KRECH BLOB BEER OR MINERAL BOTTL- CORRY PA ' Description Offered is an approximately 1890s blob top beer from Corry Pennsylvania.  Bottle measures approximately 9 1/2" H x 2 1/2" D and is embossed in a circular slug plate: CHAS KRECH. / CORRY, PA. // CLYDE GLASS WORKS N.Y. / CLYDE (embossed on base) Baltimore loop seal.  Bold, crisp embossing.  RARE color- best described as a pure yellow.  I've seen these in various yellow amber shades, but this is far and away the lightest, brightest yellow I've ever seen.  Can't be too many of these around in this vibrant color.  Corry PA is located in northwest PA, southeast of Erie and northeast of Meadville, close to the New York border.  About MINT condition- no chips, nicks, dings, or bruises.  Excellent glass character, with some nice whittle and closed bubbles in the glass.  Bottle has been lightly cleaned but still retains a few scratches and light areas of wear.  Also an open bubble on the side of the neck.
