The bottles seam only makes it to the shoulder. There is a prominant pontil on the bottom. The embossing reads Juan Diego Made in Mexico and NS De Guadalupe. I believe from my research that this would have held quote un quote holy water in a catholic mission in the mid 1800s. I did find one exerpt from an Mexican war journal of a guy looking at the figure of guadalupe on the fathers bottle. This bottle is in the same condition as when new. There is no chips chiggers or cracks. It is very primitive and contains alot of bubbles. In the embossing of Juan Diego it looks like he is in the desert with a bottle. This bottle measures about 5 7/8 inches tall. It is about 3 3/4 inches wide and about 2 inches deep. Thanks for looking. Since you are here please take a look at my other auctions.
