Hosp. Dept bottle. The color is a very rare olive citron.  This bottle stands 9 1/2 inches tall and measures 3 1/2 inches across the base. It is beautifully whittled and is loaded with teeny tiny bubbles. The base of the bottle is quite crude and irregular shaped with a very crudely applied star in the center. The finish is an applied double collar. When the finish was applied it dripped down into the neck of the bottle as can be seen in the photos. This bottle is in excellent condition with the exception of a small ping under the "P" in Dept (see photo 2) and a very small shallow open bubble in the shoulder (see photo 12) This bottle has been professionally cleaned and tumbled. The photographs taken in outdoor natural light represent the true color of this bottle. Guaranteed Authentic and Not a Reproduction. This bottle was recovered diving in Beaufort, SC near a site that was used for a Civil War Hospital.
