The bottle was made by Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Corporation (c 1904-1985). It is a half gallon jug and it is 10-1/4” high, and it is in excellent condition, No chips, cracks or hairlines and best of all, it still has its original lid/cap (see pictures). Its design includes: A shield with an eagle on it, grape vines and leaves, but the most interesting of all, is that the leaves do not look anything like those of a grape vine (see pictures). Garrett & Company, Inc., producers of Virginia Dare Wines (popular and drink of choice during its production 1935-1940) used “Scoppernog” (Native American grape) for its production. Happy bidding!
