Description
Rare, massive size double magnum probably French, certainly continental storage/wine globe, a massive 17 1/2" high and 10 1/2" maximum diameter, 8 1/2" at base. Full original surface gloss, just some  light usage scratches/scuffs, black glass (dark olive green) full of tiny bubble and tears and various striations etc. Particularly attractive very long necked form, deepish highly whittled kickup with no obvious traces of pontil, sagged base, ouward tapering sides going through wide rounded shoulders to long tapering bubbled neck going through crudely applied undulating flatened collar strignrim below crudely sheared off and refired lip. A few very minor nibbles on lip of no significance. Trace of sealing resin left to one side edge. VERY LOW RESERVE FOR THIS MAGNIFICANET BOTLE. DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY!!!
