Description
Scarce Color Corn For The World Historical Flask LAST CHANCE or back in storage Heres one on sale and for reference for 1650.00 http://historicbottles.com/earlyamerican.htm Scarce Baltimore Corn For The World historical flask. This is the quart size, measuring 8 1/2" high. The color is a rich shaded golden yellow transitioning to golden yellow amber at the top and base. There is a bit of amber overtones in the very middle of the bottle also; this is a great window bottle. Bottle is attic quality and in nice overall condition; no chips, flakes, or stains. There is no high point wear. There is a pinpoint outer lip flick on the side of the lip. There is a 1/8" x 1/8" bruise in the lip; it is not visible when displaying or viewing the bottle from the side; you can only see it when looking down on the lip. This was likely caused when the cork was pried out and there is no glass missing. This is a smooth base flask. There is some honest base wear. Bottle has a crude applied top. One side of the bottle has the monument and "Baltimore". The other side has the ear of corn and "Corn For The World". Bottle is a superb example with a very strong and detailed mold and excellent embossing. The bottle is also whittled and bubbly. This is a nice clean example of a quart Baltimore Corn For The World historical flask in good overall condition and nice color.
