Description Smelling Scent Bottle. 2-5/8" long.   Clear in color with white stripes.  I see no cracks or fleabites.  I do see what I think is either a manufacturing defect, or a very shallow flake.  I tried mightily to capture it in the last image, but it is not obvious. There is some discoloration in the curls of the tail. There is a really good discription of these in McKearin starting on page 448.  I don't know much about bottles.  This could date from the late 1700s to the 1800s.  It is a very old bottle.  I understand they are quite rare.
