Medium blue green blown glass with hand applied heavy tapered lip, and open pontiled base. Embossed vertically in three lines "M. B. Roberts's Vegetable Embrocation". This is the scarcer larger size measuring 5 1/4 inches tall, by 2 inches in diameter. Usually seen in the smaller size, that is lighter in color than this one. The color is medium blue green, being a little more green than blue. Circa 1840s-1850s. The bottle is in attic mint condition with no damage, chips, cracks, or dings. This is a great example being the more impressive larger size, having a little darker color than most, with bold embossing and a crude uneven lip, with nice "orange peel' texture to the glass.
