Mint ' Description Here's another whiskey jug out of my collection.It is in mint condition, Here's how it reads,around the shoulder" The Greybeard" Then in a frame of Sctoch Thistle There are three  Medallions One medallion has a floral design above it reads"Tria Junta Hi Uno", center medallion has MB,ltd,2 swords are crossed behind the medallion,on one side it says Trade the other side says mark.Below that is a scene of 2 Men in kilts toastingone has a shield and sword, he is holding a horn cuo,the other man is holding a cup in one hand a whiskey jug in the other.Below them is "Heather Dew,Whiskey,Mitcheel Bro's Limited Glascow Proprietors" This is all a black stencil,very clear.On the bottom is a stamp"Mioland Pottery,Melring,Liverpool"Below the handle in four upward curved lines it reads"Caution,our whiskey,when in jars and bottles is protected by branded corks,and patent capsules.Without which none is genuine,anyone refilling our packages for trade purposes will be prosecuted."Neck and half of the handle are dark brown,the body of the jug is creame. 7 inches tall with a 3 3/4ths inch base.Please e-mail questions Place a Bid!
