MILK CAPS ON ORIGINAL FUN TO LEARN SAVING PAGE' Description MILKCAPS UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Crescent Creamery Company of Reno, Nevada circa:  1960 Crescent Creamery Company had this promotion for children learning about the United States of America.  Each state was matched to their individual spot on this poster to learn the name, when it entered the union, it's capital, it's namesake, and a little tidbit of it's history. The poster says: The United States of America  Have fun learning about your States.  Match the caps up with each State on this card.  Drink your milk and save your caps.  Every glass milk bottle from your dairy has two caps.  The inner cap is the "State" cap.  So watch for them.  They're not all alike and that's where the fun comes in. ~~~***~~~***~~~*****~***** ~~~***~~~***~~~ This item is great for cap collectors, USA memorabilia,  as well as, nostalgia for dairy farmers or the era of the milkman! The paper is yellowed, folded in the middle and slight tears on the edges, but would look great framed.  The print is in red and blue and dates back to 1960.  Some of the caps are curled and all are stapled for the tab, (done by the manufacturer).  The caps are glued on, and Oregon & South Dakota have slid a little and show glue marks.  All in all, it's a great item and a great way to show the collection!
