It is 6” tall at cap, almost 4” wide and has a crescent moon shape. It has no nicks, dings, dents but it does have some wear spots. The area where the monogram would be placed has a different color and may be due to the exposure and not being protected in the leather case. As well the top of the flask has more wear and does have some light surface scratches. This is a very special and rare flask because it still has its leather case and was made during the period of time after World War II when Germany was divided into Allied Occupation Zones. So this can absolute be dated between 1945 and 1949. Although the case is in good condition considering its age, you can see that the one strap has come unsewn at the button and there is a small rip at the top of the case (all visible in the pictures). There is still cork in the lid and the both the lid and the cap unscrew and you can use the cap as a shot glass. It has the wear/use marks you would expect of a vintage flask.I suspect that the hammered metal is stainless steel.It is stamped on the bottom with the following:Tin-Lined 8oz, Made in Germany, U.S. Zone, AHSCalifornia residents pay 7.75% tax unless you have a resale license.PLEASE NOTE:Although I very little feedback on this account I have been active on eBay since 1999 but have expanded into the antique, vintage, and collectibles field and have opened a new account.
