This flawless, unrecorded skull poison bottle was hand blown into a mold with a hand finished lip. It is an unrecorded emboss and size variation of Kuhn's KH-34 with a horizontal emboss that begins below FLASCHE and reads "des DEUTSCHEN-DROGISTEN-VERBANDES." Though the KH-34 is listed in Kuhn's Poison Workbook Volume II as merely "scarce" it is one of those listings that leaves you scratching your head, considering that the KH-34 is definitely more than just "scarce." This example is one of only a few of the listed variation we've seen period. It is the only with this emboss variation that we have had and this feature surely puts it into the "extremely rare" category. Embossing: GIFT above and FLASCHE below a skull over crossbones the central front panel. Below FLASCHE there is a horizontal emboss reading des DEUTSCHEN-DROGISTEN-VERBANDES that begins on the center panel with des but wraps to the two adjacent panels on the second line of text. Adjacent panels have skulls over crossbones located high on the panels. The remaining three panels have vertical ribs on top and bottom thirds with the mid section left blank for label.  The base is embossed 250 (which indicates capacity in milliliters.) Color: Medium emerald Shape: Hexagon Height: 6 1/2" Method of Make: Hand blown in mold with hand tooled lip. Kuhn's Poison Workbook: An unlisted emboss and size variation of KH-34. Period: Circa 1880 Condition: Absolutely MINT condition. It is immaculate with a strong emboss and blinding  original sheen. If you ever get a chance to purchase another, there is no way the condition could be any better! This is an absolutely stunning bottle!
