It is a nice green color with a fat tapered top and a wide improved pontiled base. It is embossed “ J. BOARDMAN / NEW YORK”.  A search of the leading on-line pontiled soda databases did not show a listing for this earlier Boardman variant? There are no chips, cracks, or staining, but it has a light vertical scuff mark on the left side as shown in the photos. Here you go for a real hard to find American pontiled soda bottle.
