OCT 1874" on one side and "trade Mark" on the other. Shear top with the usual flakes off the lip.  SEE page 160 and 163, Covill's Inks.  It does have few issues, yet restoration is really quite good.  Resin used to help repair cracks as seen in pics.  Stable crack runs from rear wheel, up and around into the dome.  Crack on the dome and back does not appear to hit the surface of the bottle.  At 2 o'clock you can see the crack because of dirt.  Resin MAY have filled in an area, that is difficult to notice as it is highly professional  (that would not be me). Display wonderfully from both sides.  Still a great little rare ink and to be honest, in good display shape.  You will NOT find many of these inks on the market...once found, then kept!  I have another so this one goes. I have enjoyed it, but it now needs to make room for PITKIN inks.  This will make your collection, top notch.
