It is in nice condition with one sliver type chip on top of lip. Very pronounced base edge ring on the right side and has two small chips. Some nice light whittle. See photo below. Embossed on the front: Ball Mason, 2 L and dropped A. Bead seal. Large # 8 and four dots on base. Some in manufacture mold line flaws on base. Nicely colored Ball jar and a nice collectors item for the Ball Glass Manufacturing Co., early glass, bottle, preserve, kitchen or country store collection.
