It is marked on the lower side KERR DP 1 on one side and the other is marked Made in the USA 26 72:. I belive this was made as a award, from the little I found trying to research it I could not find out anything about the Maker(Robert L. Miley ) or why it was made. On one side of the metal holder it says (American Bicentennial 1776 1876 )and a image of G. Washington, on the other side (A.G.Bell the telephone 1876) with a image of A.G.Bell. Mounted on a wooden base 6 1/2 by 6 1/2. Its 6 1/2 inches tall. A gold sticker on the bottom gives the makers name and address, another white sticker has on it (independent telephone pioneer association ) also Clare E.
