Description This is a vintage glass kerosene jar, jug or bottle manufactured by the Perfection Stove Company Trade Mark in Cleveland, OH. The information embossed on the front of the jar reads: Trade (logo) Mark Pat'd. in U.S.A. Nov. 20 - 1917 - Apr. 8 - 1919 - May 29 - 1923. In Canada Mar. 21 - 1916 - May 2 - 1916. In England - 1919 No. 145874 Perfection Stove Company Cleveland, Ohio. Made In U.S.A. On the bottom, the numbers 314 and 3 are embossed. Included is the original twist on spring cap that screws and unscrews perfectly. The cap does have some rust on top and underneath and has a very slight tilt but still works okay. The jar stands roughly 8" tall and 10" with the cap. The body diameter is roughly 7 1/2". The condition of the jar is very good. There are no chips, cracks or nicks. There is some slight cloudiness and might need a good cleaning. Overall, not bad at all!   Winning bidder agrees to pay $11.95 for S&H. Insurance is optional. Overseas rates will contact.
