The bottle is embossed on one panel with Vanderveer's Medicated Gin, another panel is embossed with OR REAL and the third panel is embossed with Schiedam Schnapps. This bottle is 9 1/4 inches tall with a diameter on the base of 2 1/2 inches. This bottle has been in my collection for quite some time and now it's time to make some room. One of the many things I loved about this one was the wonderful Rainbow colors created from burial here in New Orleans. This iridescendt look on the bottle especially the lower half is stunning. You can thank all the water that is slow close below the surface here in New Orleans, it is sort of nature's Tiffany. The bottle is perfect with no chips or cracks and with the applied top if you hold it to the light you can actually see some lines in the glass that are from the top being applied. There are some small interesting bubbles in the glass though not too many. The base has some light rough glass from the iridescent effect, I personally am not sure if this is a remnant of a pontil or not. The bottle does have a mold line going to the base of the neck.
