It is clear glass. This insulator is in excellent  condition with with one small chip on the top outside rim, and a chip on the inside rim . It is marked “made in the USA 39”. It also is marked “Hemingray-19 38. The measurements are 4 inches tall and 3 1/4" across the bottom. This would make a great piece for a collector.
