The reason that I say that this "was" my favorite ink is because a short time ago I was lifting an ink bottle from behind this one on the shelf where I keep them and unfortunately I dropped it onto the top of this bottle cracking it. As you can see from the photos there is a piece of glass approx 3x1 inches that has broken away. The bottle is still extremely beautiful and is still an extremely rare 1880's ink. It even has its hard to find original screw on spout though the tip of the spout is a bit dented and the cap is missing. I paid $300 for it a couple of years ago at a bottle show but I am listing it much less for obvious reasons! It still is a great ink and still displays nice but I've decided to sell it.
