Dated July 18, 1911... this is a very, very rare find! This is a full, never opened 1911 crate of 36 bottles of Sanford's Royal Blue Fountain Pen Ink. The crate is complete with its original lid and each of the 36 two ounce bottles are in their original boxes with their original embossed stopper and each box also contains a full color Sanford's advertising pamphlet. All of the bottles are near perfect with their original labels, a few have small amounts of ink but most of the bottles have ink that has dried and evaporated to a powder. The overall condition is near mint though nine out of the thirty six boxes have an ink stain, seven boxes have a tiny ink stain and twenty are mint. Overall, the crate is near perfect. Occassionally these inks will be offered on eBay and generally sell in the $35 area each, though I have seen them occassionally sell for close to $50 each. It is a very, very rare find to see a complete unopened case of vintage inks! Offered with a very low opening bid to protect my original purchase price...
