Description
This offer consists of an antique bottle embossed Webb's Double Soda & Other Waters. Also embossed on the bottle are the words: To Her Majesty Islington LondonThe bottle is aqua colored and is 9 1/2" long. It has a torpedo shape, and a blob top. Similiar bottles have been found on shipwrecks that occurred in 1850's. I believe that this particular bottle was buried, perhaps for as long as 100 years. It had quite a bit of hard sediment in it when I bought it. The sediment has been removed but there still may be traces in it. The bottle has a number of air bubbles and strawmarks in the glass. I believe that these marks are due to the manufacturing process. The high bidder is to pay for s&h.
