It has a raised diamond pattern at the top and the bottom. The jar is 8 3/4" in height and 5 1/2" square. There are numbers on the bottom "5428-6". The glass jar is in excellent condition, no cracks or chips.  The original lid is rusty, I have not attempted to remove the rust, will leave that to the buyer.  It can be sanded lightly and painted the color of your choice.  I would recommend Rustoleum paint.
