Waterman's Ideal Fountain Pen And Waterman's Ideal Ink. It measures 20" by 30" and probably spent its life bolted to the outside of a pen-ink-stationary store somewhere in the 1890's to 1900's timeframe. It's beautifully colored in an orange-red and has lots of great 100 plus year old charm and character. Over the 25 years that I've collected inks and related ink advertising I've only seen five or six of these so I know that it is a very scarce sign. It isn't in perfect condition, it does have some chipping and a bit of a bow to it but I would say that it is in above average condition compared to the other ones I've seen.
