Description
Vintage pressed glass monkey bottle All the items that I'm listing tonight are from one box we found on our recent visit to PawPaw's house ... PawPaw insisted he had never seen those items before in his whole life, but I feel sure Mimi packed them up at some point. I found a little crocheted doll bootie in the box, just like the ones she used to make for my daughters! The box was just full of glass items ... dresser dolls, individual salts, butter pats ... probably a couple hundred small items ... you'll be seeing them for a while! This vintage pressed glass bottle is shaped like a sitting monkey ... he is clear glass, 4 3/4 inches tall. I don't see any chips or damage at all... no identification ... exact age unknown. And don't forget that you could save on shipping costs by bidding on more than one of these little items! I will send you an invoice at the end of the auction ... please contact me or pay by PayPal within 48 hours ...If you are bidding on other open auctions, just let me know and I will happily wait to combine shipping, for any other items that are listed at the time of your win ... My goal is to ship within 24 hours of receiving your payment. Your item will be as carefully packaged as I can manage. Your shipping fees will be calculated by the USPS based on weight and size, and there is no handling charge except for international shipping. Our policy is ... your complete satisfaction with our transaction. Please feel free to communicate with me about any questions you have while bidding or after your purchase.PawPaw is my 86-year-old father-in-law. PawPaw and his wife Mimi were antique dealers in northern Illinois for years, and have been collectors of almost every kind of historical memorabilia since shortly after World War II. If they thought something would have value some day, they hauled it home and saved it. PawPaw has always said that was his retirement account. I tell him he was just sitting around waiting for eBay to be invented! After Mimi passed away in 2005, PawPaw decided it was time to start sharing his treasures with others, and he has entrusted me with listing them. All our auctions begin at $.99 ... you decide the value! We appreciate your interest in our auctions!I am not a dealer, a collector, or an expert, but I do try to describe each of PawPaw's items carefully and fully and to take good photos. If you have any questions about any item listed, please feel free to ask, and I will do my best to find the answer for you.
