Amber quart. Gorgeous color. In between yellow amber and honey amber as per Greg Spurgeon’s color guide @ http://www.hoosierjar.com. A work of art: ripples, bubbles, totally whittled, and criss-crossed with numerous spirals. Original wire. Perfectly matching Lightning glass lid. The lid is heavily textured, strongly embossed, and a stand alone beauty. Perfect. No damage of any kind. Even the ground lip is perfect – not the least bit chipped. Virtually scratch free. Almost no shelf wear. Probably never used. The wire is in exceptional condition: dark with age but only barely rusted. The lid, too, is perfect except for two flakes off the inside of the lip underneath and marks on the knobs on top from the bail rubbing over them. An exceptional beauty.
