L@@k' Description This auction is for a WW2 era US Army tankers jacket, the jacket is in superb condition with only one small 3/4 inch rip at the bottom of the right hand pocket, although this does not detract from the jacket. There is a slight area of fading approximately 4 inches long on the front of the left hand portion of the jacket near the zip. I have tried to show this in the last photo ( no. 11 ) but i don't think it has come out in the photo it is hardly noticeable though. The zip works perfectly it is made by Talon which is stamped on the front of the zip and Talon USA is stamped on the back. It made of brass with a silver coloured plating over the top. The cuffs, collar and waistband are in excellent condition. There is a spec tag on the inside of the right hand pocket it is practically washed out but the word ' LARGE' can just be made out and the manufacturers name which looks like ' Taberley Clothes Co.'. Also there appears to be the very very faint digits of a contract no. and a date which the '194?' can just be made out. It appears patches have been attached at some point a round one on the right sleeve and triangular one on the left which would suggest and armoured division. This is a large jacket the measurements with the item laid flat are as follows PIT TO PIT  26"   WAISTBAND 22"  SHOULDER TO CUFF  23"  COLLAR TO HEM  22" Overall a lovely jacket I have owned this for about 8 years and am slightly reluctant to sell it but needs must.
