See more about 'WWII USN M-422A G-1 FLIGHT JACKET Willis & Geiger Sz 42' Description   This is a fantastic WWII USN flight jacket by Willis and Geiger in a wearable size 42" . The jacket is named to Naval aviator E.J.Odenkir..?? The jacket is original and shows wear and patina that only a 65 year old WWII flight jacket could produce! Willis and Geiger were one of the premium M-422A manufacturers and the jacket shows excellent workmanship and quality that today's repro makers can only dream about! The goatskin on this jacket is thick and heavy and shows a trmendous amount of grain and texture. The real mouton fur collar is a beautiful  golden honey colour and shows very little signs of wear...there are no thin or bald spots. The zipper is a brass Talon and works flawlessly. The crimson red rayon lining shows some wear near the neck area and armpits but is in overall good condition considering the age of the jacket. Original Willis & Geiger label is still in tact. The cuffs and waistband are in good shape with only a few snags that could easily bee darned. Both buttons are missing from the pocket flaps and one button is missing from the throat latch. This is a great WWII flyers jacket that has the provenance of the original owners name tag to prove that it was probably a combat worn Navy jacket, add to that the fabulous veg tanned goatskin and you've got a great USN M-422a. Why buy a repro from Eastman, Aero, Real McCoys, Buzz Rickson etc when you can have the real thing!!!..
