Booz Old Cabin Whiskey bottle in amber. The original bottle was produced and used perhaps between 1840 and 1870. It was felt that this bottle was historically unique both because it introduced the word "booze" into the English langage, and because it was closely associated with the Presidential campaign of William Henry Harrison on 1840. Such a bottle did, in fact, exist, but sadly, both of these facts about that bottle have been researched and found to belong to the category of stories that should be true, but are not. Still, you cannot blame Wheaton for commemorating this fine item. This is one of the full-sized reproductions, measuring 3-3/4 by 3 inches at the base and 8 inches tall. It is in mint condition with no damage of any kind. This fine Wheaton bottle is offered with a very reasonable opening bid.
