On the front is Mason's patent Nov. 30th 1858 and a CFJ & Co between the words mason's and patent. All is heavily embossed. The base is unmarked and it has a ground lip. This jar is heavily whittled and very wavy glass. There are no cracks, breaks, chips or haze of any kind. I was told by a jar collector that this possibly could be a remake from the 70's but I am not sure. This wonderful colored jar will sell to the highest bidder with NO RESERVE. Happy bidding!
