TODAYS ITEM FOR AUCTION IS: A very rare dresser bottle or barber shop bottle. American made and listed in an 1863 barber shop catalogue. Features a Chinaman in a sitting pose. He is sitting on a half barrel that has the words ORIENTAL on it. It is cobalt blue glass. Has a ground lip. Little chip on lip. Comes with original head with all original paint showing little wear. The head is metal. There is a hold between the lips from which a spray would come out. It is missing the spray bulb which would be squeezed to pump the liguid from inside the bottle to the lips. The bulb would attach to the top knot. A most interesting piece from the western United States. 5 3/4 inches tall. Very good condition. SHIPPING AND OTHER INFO: Buyer is to pay shipping and delivery confirmation of $15.00. Insurance is recommended on all auctions. I recommend that you request an invoice with insurance if you win.
