An absolutely gorgeous BIM YELLOW GREEN CARTER'S CONE INK BOTTLE!   This ink bottle is in near mint condition, considering its age and usage -- no chips, cracks, or dings, or hazing!  In beautiful hues of translucent emerald green, to swirls of darker green and yellow green glass -- stunning! (Pictures do not accurately reflect the color variants -- must be in-hand to be fully appreciated!) [I am listing additional inks and bottles in my other auctions -- check 'em out!]  This is one to acquire, own and enjoy -- for both novice and invested collectors alike! Check out the lip and base!  Great piece of tangible history!  This is one crude bottle, with striations, swirls, bubbles, and irregularities in the making! This ink has smooth base, embossed:  CARTER'S  Wonderful little piece for the collection or display! By the late 1800s, cone inks were the most popular shape/design, as they were simple to make, easy to use, and could be made from odds n ends of beautiful glass. That way, they enhanced the user's table/desk at an affordable rate. The paper labels bore the brunt of the decoration/embellishment to the glass wells/bottles. Carter's is renowned among serious collectors, as well as the novice.  Incredible find for the collector of inks and blown-in-mold pieces, in stunning color, condition, and base embossing -- a definite requisite for collectors of antique glassware, vintage inks/cone inks, colored glass, Carter's inks, and early bottles in general.
